Geared toward Millennials, the goal was to modernize the home fragrance shopping experience through a 360° pop-up campaign 

The art direction called to exaggerate the ambiance of light from a scented candle. When a candle is lit, nostalgic aromas fill the air revealing memories and moods—transforming & transporting.
Duotone imagery featuring shadows and silhouettes allude to abstract memories tied to fragrances. This was a flexible approach to build pre-launch hype: gradually revealing exclusive details of the pop-up as the launch date approached.

Loose grids, overlapping type, and atypical compositions were used to compliment surrealist-inspired graphics.


















Over the three month period, Candle Power garnered over 300 million social and media impressions, exceeding its target by 400%.







The Retail Experience
Using the 5E framework, we designed an immersive pop-up experience to drive trial & modernize the home fragrance shopping experience. 

Surrealist-inspired graphics & interactive installations feature signature fragrances and show a candle’s power to transform and transport through scent.
